Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce launches #BradfordStrong Campaign
Did you happen to see a yard sign this past weekend that said #BradfordStrong? The Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce kicked off a new campaign with these signs.
The BACC Board brainstormed how to best support the local business community during this time. BACC is providing education and information on numerous grants, loans, webinars and programs which provide funding and supportive services.
Over the last several months, BACC witnessed the community pull together. BACC saw thousands of masks being made for anyone that needed one, with no questions asked. BACC also saw lunches being purchased for Healthcare Workers as well as people providing financial support to those that were laid off. There were days this generosity brought BACC staff to tears.
“We could go on and on, but I think you understand,” said Heidi Scrivo Passmore, BACC Executive Director. “Bradford is such a strong, kindhearted community. This campaign is an effort to remind our little town of our strength. We know how to triumph; we know how to support one another. And as a business community we know how to grow in adversity, because we are #BradfordStrong.”
The Chamber will continue to grow this campaign.

BACC will also expand this campaign into the community.
“We are pulling together a committee of community members to plan projects to help spread this positivity, If you would be interested in joining the committee, please reach out to us,” said Scrivo Passmore.
The #BradfordStrong yard signs are for sale at the Chamber office, located at 121 Main Street, Bradford, PA 16701, for $15. Office hours are 10am-4pm Monday through Friday or by appointment.
