Nine small business owners in the Pennsylvania Wilds region are working their way through a course meant to inspire and grow their businesses. The program started on April 14 as the entrepreneurs, representing nine different businesses from across the PA Wilds, gathered in Williamsport to kick off the 2022 PA Wilds PACE program, a 5-week professional development course designed to help scale rural businesses.
Bellefonte is one of two communities piloting a new remote work program called the Wilds Are Working: Recreation and Technology in Rural PA with the PA Wilds Center for Entrepreneurship.
The PA Wilds PACE Program is designed for entrepreneurs looking to scale their businesses and leverage the Pennsylvania Wilds brand and marketing opportunities. Open to artisan producers participating in the Wilds Cooperative of PA, the 2022 cohort will help entrepreneurs look backward, forward and outward to set their businesses up for long-term success.
