Curator Talk – A Letter from Korea: An Exhibition of Contemporary Korean Art

South Korea’s art has experienced a rapid rise in recent years. Cities like Seoul and Busan are now growing as global centers for contemporary art. We at BAM are pleased to be a part of these exciting developments by bringing Contemporary Korean Art to our community.

Join Bellefonte Art Museum on March 5 as exhibition curator Sueun Chung discusses the evolution of Korean Contemporary Art through a visual presentation of paintings dating as early as 1915 to present time. She will introduce us to some of South Korea’s most influential contemporary artists and share how they are changing the landscape of modern art and the global market.
