Karen Heltzel, owner and photographer at Moments in Time Studio, has been capturing the spirit of northwestern Pennsylvania since 2006.

Located in Warren, part of the Allegheny National Forest and Surrounds Landscape of the PA Wilds region, she specializes in contemporary portraits and photography. Services are offered for families, high school seniors, pets and businesses as well as fine art photography.

With more than 25 years of experience directing photo shoots for national apparel catalogs, Heltzel brings a seasoned eye and a gift of patience to help bring out the best in your photoshoot. 

“For many years, I worked with professional models from New York City – so I know how to make you feel like a model for your own personal photo shoot!” Heltzel said. 

Feeling like a model isn’t limited to just human photos, either. Pet photography is one of Karen’s specialties. She understands the love for pets and enjoys creating lasting images that reflect the joy your pets give you. Her love for pets goes above and beyond. She has donated her time and photography services to the Warren County Humane Society, capturing adoptable animals to help them find homes.

Committed to professional growth, Karen has been involved in multiple photography organizations including: the former Southwestern New York Association of Professional Photographers and the former Professional Photographers’ Society of New York State, as well as being a current member of the Professional Photographers of America.
