Meeting artist Belinda Brohn, you discover that she likes igniting the imagination by inviting people to set foot into her paintings - metaphorically speaking. Her painting themes tend to be landscapes. Her work is detailed and realistic. Belinda earned a BFA in Painting from Tyler School of Art (Temple University) in Philadelphia, PA. While there, she studied the Masters’ techniques and began infusing them into her own artworks. Belinda also discovered gouache paint which is often her medium of choice.Sometime after completing college Belinda was reading an article about miniature painting. Fascinated by the challenge of creating tiny paintings, she vowed to do it. For her, working back and forth between miniature and larger format paintings is invigorating. Her paintings have been displayed around the country as well as owned by private individuals. Previously Belinda worked as an Art Director in the advertising department for a catalog company. Segueing from that she has created logos, product labels and automobile wraps for clients. As an advocate of instilling youth with an appreciation for the Fine Arts, Belinda has dreamed up and taught art and theatre to children between the ages of three to high school teenagers. Currently Belinda resides in a lovely town nestled in the heart of the Allegheny National Forest.
