Cliff is a woodworker and carves spoons of all sizes from greenwood, along with restoring and sharpening hand tools. He has a collection of hand planes and other hand tools that he uses to build cabinets, panel raised doors and is willing to share his knowledge of hand tools with others. Cliff is adept at building shaving horses, he uses to carve spoons and workbenches, including a Moravian-style bench. Jeanette is a memoirist and has published two books, The Red Caboose - An Orphan's Journey, and She Hath Wings. Cliff and Jeanette enjoy sharing their knowledge of homesteading skills, such as gardening, woodworking, soap making, cheese making, preserving food, and raising poultry, which they have acquired throughout the years. Little Mill Creek is located six miles north of Ridgway, bordering the Alleghany National Forest.
