I am a Shepherdres of Shetland Sheep in the mountains of the PA Wilds. I choose Shetlands because of them being a Heritage Breed, which means they were once on the verge of extinction. But I also choose the breed because of their size, temperaments and outstanding fleeces. I process their fleeces from start to finish. I weave a variety of items, from shawls to scrafs, blankets and handbags. I also spin their wool for yarn as well as being a soapmilk make from sheep milk.
