Never in a million years would I have imagined I'd be living in my favorite region to visit as a child--the PA Wilds. I can recall numerous days spent hiking in the woods, relaxing at camp and going for leisurely drives, my point and shoot with a fresh roll of film waiting to capture the memories of that day. Now, nearly 25 years later and in the world of digital, I still tote a camera around and look for those perfect shots. My photo library is a rather eclectic mix of images, ranging from pastoral scenes at my parents horse farm to flowing waterfalls in the Allegheny National Forest. Photography really allows me to relax, slow down and take in the busy world around us. I use a variety of lenses, filters and other camera gear to capture these moments, and I let the editing software help me decide if the final image will be in black and white or color.
