Smoked Country Jam is a 3-day "roots to branches" bluegrass festival, bringing together music from every branch of the bluegrass tree. The festival, begun in 2004, benefits The Lupus Foundation of America, and is held at the Quiet Oaks Campground, the heart of the PA Wilds. Smoked Country Jam also offers presentations that bring an awareness of the PA Wilds. The PA Elk, flint knapping, Pennsylvania logging, PA plant identification, and The Last Raft, have been a few of the presentations in past festivals. A beautiful midway offers attendees a variety of foods & drinks, as well as handcrafted jewelry, pottery, and clothing.
