TAMED is the manager of 21 miles of the 74 mile Knox-Kane rail trail that runs from Kinzua Bridge State Park to near Clarion. Currently we have completed 12.5 miles of trail from near the Kane Country Club to Rte 66 south of Nansen but are expanding in both directions yearly.. The trail permits walking, hiking, biking and skiing that provides for the health and wellness of our community and visitors. A portion of this rail trail lies within the borough of Kane which provides various amenities to community members and visitors such as restaurants, lodging, brewery, wineries, distillery, shops, a hospital, the arts and has resulted in start up small businesses such as bike rentals and outfitters.
