Trail Care Weekend #7 – June 13-16: Trail Care (PA Wilds) MID STATE TRAIL – TIOGA REGION Tioga State Forest

Camp: Hills Creek State Park Organized Group Tenting Area
What we have planned:
Trail work will likely focus on clearing mowed paths
Also some blazing freshening, and
Some new sign installation
Scouting to occur soon to determine more work sites

–Trail Work Details–
Work days:
Friday and Saturday approximately 8-4, Sunday 8-noon. Camping available starting Thursday >3pm.
Description of work:
Mowing vital sections of trail in the US-6 corridor and north
Installation of new signs in the Haunted Vista area
Freshening blazes in Tioga State Forest
Other sites TBD
We carpool to trail locations; please let me know if you are not comfortable riding with others or driving on gravel forestry roads. From the campground, drive times should be in the 15-45 minute range.
