Applications for Penn State SBDC Business Plan Bootcamp due by January 14
The Penn State SBDC Business Plan Bootcamp is a free 8-week accelerator program designed to take participants through the entire journey of writing a full business plan. A well-written business plan outlines the primary purpose of a business, designs plans for the future, identifies a unique value proposition, and lays out a financial roadmap to success. With a strong business plan you can run a successful business, obtain bank financing, find the right employees, and attract investors.
Over the 8-week Business Plan Bootcamp, participants will use LivePlan (complete business planning software), attend 4 mandatory teaching sessions, and receive 4 one-on-one coaching sessions, all via ZOOM. Upon completion of the program participants will have a full business plan as well as a pitch deck to quickly communicate their business ideas to potential clients and investors.
Applications are due January 14th and applicants will be notified of their acceptance on January 17th. If accepted into the program, participants will receive free access to LivePlan software for 3 months and have a chance to win up to $500 in funding during a final pitch competition.
