Vendors, Exhibitors Invited to October 3 Outdoor Adventure Expo in Bellefonte
The Outdoor Adventure Expo highlights the PA Wilds I-80 Frontier community of Bellefonte and its beautiful and easily accessible natural assets, while showcasing regional vendors, nonprofits and businesses that specialize in outdoors and recreation-related products.
This is a free-admission, regional event to promote nature-based tourism and commerce, with the added benefit of promoting health benefits of getting outside. The event also serves as a fundraiser for Downtown Bellefonte, Inc., a member of the Wilds Cooperative of PA, to aid in its economic development initiatives.
The event will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2021 from 12 pm to 5 pm in Talleyrand Park and Bellefonte Waterfront walk.
The Expo will have exhibitor booth space open to adventure-based nonprofits (clubs, conservation orgs), manufacturers and vendors. This event will also offer free workshops that will educate the public on interests like fly fishing, field first aid and camping basics. In 2019, we had an estimated 1,500-2,000 meet over 45 vendors and attend 12 workshops.
Event organizers are also looking for people interested in holding 30 minute to 1-hour workshops/demos focusing on outdoor adventures, like fly-fishing, basic first-aid or map reading.
